A third-generation Jefferson County resident, Anji Scalf (D) has spent 20+ years working alongside city, county, and business leaders across the Olympic Peninsula. As 4-H Coordinator for WSU Extension, she's built a record of stretching limited dollars into real results. As our next District 3 County Commissioner she will:

Put the County on a Long-Term Financial Plan
Jefferson County still has no long-range financial plan. Building one will be Anji’s top priority, so every dollar, grant, and hire is decided with the long view: live within our means while we grow the tax base. When county funding for the 4-H after-school program fell short, she lined up grants and partners and kept it running. That's the plan-ahead budgeting she'll bring to the commission.

Lead Collaboratively and Listen First
Anji has spent her life bringing people together, and she'll make local government a partner, not an obstacle. For small businesses and homeowners alike, that means cutting red tape, so getting a permit is simple enough to walk in, get it, and walk out.

Protect What We Love
Our public lands, working waterfronts, and small farms are the backbone of our economy, not just scenery. Anji will protect the lands, waters, and wildlife that make this place home.
